Increased access to ICT tools are now available for teachers and students of Quezon City's Masambong High School. On August 29, 2017, Globe Telecom formally launched its Global Filipino School Program in this school.

In his keynote message, Mayor Herbert M. Bautista said that it is his dream that every public school teacher and student in this city will have wide access to the use of today's modern technology for wider and more interactive avenues for learning. Being up to par to education in the digital age is, in fact , a crucial part of the smart city ecosystem that the mayor is gradually easing Quezon City into.

The GFS program provides the school with various ICT learning tools, including the Digital Learning Lab, a mobile cart of ICT gadgets composed of Globe prepaid Supersticks, charging station, netbook, tablets and projectors powered high-speed connectivity. The Lab is movable from classroom to classroom and even to other areas in the campus to promote communal learning.

In addition, Globe with Habitat for Humanity, refurbished an unused classroom in Masambong HS to become an ICT laboratory.

Also present during the launch was District 1 Congressman Bingbong Crisologo who committed a large portion of his congressional funds for education, District supervisors of QC Division of City Schools, and Masambong HS Principal Adora Teano.
