The Quezon City Government inaugurated on September 25, 2017, three new government buildings: the Department of Public Order and Safety (DPOS) building, the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) building and the National Government Agency (NGA) building, which were all designed to provide convenience  to the public.

Located at Gate 5 along Kalayaan Avenue, the National Government Agency building houses the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) satellite office at the ground floor, the QCPD Police Clearance Section at the second floor, the Bureau of Fire QC office at the third floor and the offices of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) QC at the fourth floor.

The Police Clearance section can now comfortably accommodate 200 applicants, while the NBI clearance section has 20 transaction counters and also comfortably seat 170 waiting applicants.
Mayor Herbert Bautista said that the building is designed as a facility to provide comfort and convenience to the transacting public as well as to the frontline government employees.

“What we have in mind is the comfort and convenience of the public who transact business with these national agencies, as well as our local government offices,” the mayor said.

The Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Building, also one of the three buildings inaugurated, is the city's one-stop shop for emergency services. Located in the premises are the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, the QC Radio Communications Service, the QC Fire Station and the QC Ready Reserve Brigade of the Philippine Army.

The Emergency Operations Center which monitors strategically positioned CCTV cameras, with modern communications and monitoring equipment integrates all emergency response units of the city.

The DRRM Building represents one of the pillars of Mayor Herbert Bautista's administration, disaster preparedness and resiliency. The building is designed to withstand strong earthquakes and operate off-grid with its redundant solar and backup power generators.

Also inaugurated is the Department of Public Order and Safety (DPOS) Building, which houses the DPOS offices, the Traffic Violation Receipt (TVR) redemption and the Tricycle Regulatory Unit (TRU). The building is also designed to provide comfort and convenience to the transacting public.
