Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista together with Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte led the ribbon-cutting ceremony to highlight the inauguration of the two-storey Molave day-care and livelihood center in Barangay Payatas. During the occasion, the Mayor reiterated the city government’s continuing effort to modernize the city’s day-care program to provide a good headstart for QC pre-schoolers, especially those coming from underprivileged communities. The city government, through the social services development department, manages the operation of over 270 day-care centers that are spread over QC’s 142 barangays.
