Kinilala ang Alternative Child Care section ng Quezon City Social Services Development Department (SSDD), sa ginanap na 2025 Partner Stakeholders Recognition and Awards Ceremony ng Regional Alternative Child Care Office (RACCO NCR) ng National Authority for Child Care (NACC).
Ang SSDD ay isa sa mga kaagapay ng RACCO NCR sa pagtitiyak ng karapatan at kaligtasan ng mga bata, partikular sa mga abandoned, neglected, at surrendered child.
Aktibong partner din ang SSDD sa pagsusulong ng legal adoption at foster care sa ilalim ng Republic Act No. 11642 (Domestic Administrative Adoption and Alternative Child Care Act).
