Ipinagdiriwang ngayong araw ang ika-apat na taon ng pagkakatatag ng National Council Against Child Labor.
Binubuo ito ng iba-ibang ahensya ng pamahalaan na kumikilos para tuldukan ang child labor at exploitation sa bansa.

Martin Jequinto, National Economic and Development Authority Asec Reynaldo Cancio, Department of Social Welfare and Development SHIELD Against Child Labor National Focal Joseph Salavarria, at Public Employment Service Office QC Manager Mr. Rogelio Reyes.
Kasama rin ang mga ka-partner mula sa private sector na sina Fedaration of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce & Industry, Inc. – Industrial Relation Committee Chairperson Mr. Stanley Sy, World Vision PH National Dir. Rommel Fuerte, at Project ACE Manager Ms. Anita Garcia.
Isa sa mga prayoridad ng pamahalaang lungsod ang sugpuin ang child labor kung kaya binuo ng QC ang Interagency Task Force for the Special Protection of Street Children and Child Laborers o Task Force Sampaguita.
