The Quezon City Government, through the Housing Community Development and Resettlement Department (HCDRD), will award 301 condominium units as part of its rental housing program to qualified QCitizens via public raffle on the HCDRD’s Facebook live feed at 2:00 p.m on Wednesday, March 26, 2025.
Beneficiaries will be awarded units in the QCitizen Homes Urban Deca Housing project located in Litex, Barangay Commonwealth.
“Through this Facebook live public draw, we wish to make the process as transparent as possible, with every housing applicant being given a fair chance at receiving a unit,” Mayor Joy Belmonte said.
This is the first time that the local government has acquired a housing project built by private estate developers in order to provide housing for QC residents.
This project comprises four highrise buildings, with a total of 2,699 units. The housing units available are studio units and one, two, and three bedrooms. It also has a spacious parking space with 505 slots that can accommodate motorcycles and four-wheel vehicles.
According to HCDRD data, 8,725 qualified beneficiaries will have a chance to be awarded a unit at the live draw. This includes, 751 solo parents, 189 solo parent government workers, 6,174 QCitizens, and 1,611 government employees.
Potential beneficiaries underwent a rigorous verification process, which includes information on monthly income and household size.
The live public raffle will be conducted in the presence of members of the Beneficiary Selection and Arbitration Committee, the QC Local Housing Board, representatives of the QC Liga ng mga Barangay, and the QC People’s Council.
The list of qualified beneficiaries is available on the official HCDRD Facebook page.
