The Quezon City Government has started rolling out its QC E-Services kiosks in an effort to bring its services closer to QCitizens.

Earlier, Mayor Joy Belmonte together with ARTA Director-General Atty Jeremiah Belgica and QC Business Permits and Licensing Department head Margarita Santos spearheaded the launch of the QC E-Services kiosk as one of the initiatives in implementing the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018.

The E-Services kiosk will be placed in the city’s District Action Offices, business centers in malls and in barangays. Through the kiosk, QCitizens can now apply for services under Business One Stop Shop, register for the QCitizen ID, QC Vax Easy, apply for Occupational Permit, Health and Sanitary Permit, apply for Pangkabuhayang QC and Kalingang QC (for business), pay for Real Property Tax, and apply for Persons with Disability Affairs Office ID and Office of Senior Citizens Affairs ID.

Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) Dir. Gen. Jeremiah Belgica lauded the city for its continuous innovation of projects which helps to ease the burden of the residents when it comes to transactions with the city government.

“From 2019 malaki na ang nagawa ng QC on Ease of Doing Business, at kung nagawa ng Quezon City within a short period of time, walang dahilan ang ibang lungsod na hindi magawa ito. Quezon City is tryly a benchmark and standard on how the country is doing in terms of Ease of Doing Business,” Belgica said.

Furthermore, the Ease of Doing Business is one of the city’s priorities in order to draw more investors and for businesses to thrive in QC, making it a preferred business destination.

“Here in Quezon City, we want to bring our services closer to the people so they don’t have to come to city hall to do their transactions, they can just do them online or through our kiosks. We value their business, and we value their time,” Mayor Belmonte said.
