10th Anniversary of Project Saysay

Nakiisa si Mayor Joy Belmonte sa ika-10 anibersaryo ng Project Saysay kasabay ng paglulunsad ng mga pintang larawan at poster ng 10 dakilang Pilipino sa Presidential Car Museum, Quezon Memorial Circle.

Ang programa ay pinangunahan ng Project Saysay katuwang ang National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NCHP).

Ang 10 dakilang Pilipino na ito ay sina Jose Abad Santos, Jaime De Veyra, Fe Del Mundo, Jose Petronio Katigbak, Tarhata Kiram, Maria Orosa, Ramon Muzones, Norberto Romualdez, Rosa Sevilla de Alvero, at Aurelio Tolentino. Ipamamahagi ang mga poster na ito sa iba-ibang eskwelahan sa bansa.

Ayon kay Mayor Joy, patuloy na isusulong ng lokal na pamahalaan ang pagpreserba at pagpapayabong ng kultura at sining sa Lungsod Quezon.

Dumalo rin sa event si Pangasinan District 4 Rep. Christopher De Venecia bilang guest of honor at keynote speaker kasama sina National Artist for Literature Virgilio Almario, Department of Education (DepEd) Usec. Annalyn Sevilla, NCHP-Historic Sites and Education Division Chief Gina Batuhan, former DepEd Secretary Leonor Briones, at Project Saysay Executive Director Michael Tabuyan.
