Bumisita ang mga kinatawan ng Resilient Cities Network at Temasek Foundation sa Manuel L. Quezon Elementary School na isa sa mga benepisyaryo ng OASIS (Openness, Adaptation, Sensitisation, Innovation, and Social Ties) Schoolyard Program.

Ang naturang programa ay may layon na magkaroon ng open and green spaces ang mga paaralan sa lungsod na vulnerable sa heat waves at pagbaha.

Dagdag pa rito, nais din nitong turuan ang mga mag-aaral sa mga epekto ng climate change at ano ang mga dapat gawin upang mapigilan ang mga ito.

Kabilang sa pagbisita sina Arch. Red Avelino ng Parks Development and Administration Department, at mga kinatawan ng Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability Department.

Naunang lumagda sina City Administrator Michael Alimurung, Schools Division Superintendent Carleen Sedilla, Resilient Cities Network Executive Director Lauren Sorkin, at Temasek Foundation Senior Director and International Programmes Lead Stanley Lee sa Memorandum of Understanding bilang suporta sa inisyatibo ng OASIS Schoolyards Program.
