Quezon City is a worker-friendly city!

Opisyal nang binuksan ng Quezon City Government ang Mega Labor Day Job Fair sa Quezon City Hall ngayong umaga!

Nasa 9,000 oportunidad mula sa 100 pribado at pampublikong kompanya ang handog ng lokal na pamahalaan katuwang ang Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) sa mga QC at non-QC resident job seekers.

Kasabay nito, pinangunahan ni Mayor Joy Belmonte ang pagbibigay ng 100 livelihood packages (Nego Kart) at certificate of eligibility para sa 166 QCitizens na mapapasama sa tulong-pangkabuhayan ng DOLE. Kasama ng alkalde sa pamamahagi sina DOLE-NCR Assistant Regional Director, Atty. Jude Thomas

Trayvilla, at DOLE-Quezon City Field Office Director Engr. Martin Jequinto.

Nagkaroon din ng payout para sa 1,160 Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged / Displaced Workers (TUPAD) beneficiaries.

Kaugnay pa nito, namahagi ang lokal na pamahalaan ng tulong-pinansyal sa 1,000 residente mula sa informal sector at 25 starter kits mula sa Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).

Mayroon ding One-Stop-Shop ng mga ahensya ng pamahalaan na nagpo-proseso ng karaniwang requirements ng mga job seeker kabilang ang QCitizen ID, PhilSys ID, Social Security System, Philhealth at Pag-IBIG membership.

Libre rin ang clearances ng National Bureau of Investigation at Philippine National Police para sa mga first time na mag-apply.

Bukas ang Mega Job Fair sa QC Hall hanggang 5PM.

Nakiisa sa programa sina TESDA NCR Regional Director Jovencio Ferrer Jr., TESDA Quezon City Field Office Director Nomer Pascual, Priest Director on Commission on Ecumenism of Diocese of Novaliches Rev. Fr. Joel T. Saballa, Overall Program Coordinator for Novaliches Ecumenical Fellowship Rev. Pastor Leonardo Arevallo, Philippine Association of Service Contractors (PALSCON) National President Armando Gutierrez Jr., Quezon City Public Employment Service Office Manager Rogelio L. Reyes, at Business Permits and Licensing Department Head Margie Santos.
