The Quezon City Government proudly announces that it has received an Unmodified Opinion from the Commission on Audit (COA) for the fourth consecutive year. This accolade reaffirms the city’s steadfast commitment to transparency, accountability, and sound financial management.

According to COA, the “unmodified opinion (also referred to as unqualified opinion) is issued when the auditor concludes that the financial statements are prepared, in all material respects, in accordance with the applicable financial reporting framework.”

It underscores the city’s unwavering dedication to upholding the highest standards of governance and fiscal responsibility.

Mayor Joy Belmonte expressed gratitude for the dedication and hard work of the city’s financial management team and all personnel involved in ensuring the integrity of the city’s financial operations.

“We offer this to all Quezon City citizens. This achievement reflects our relentless pursuit of excellence in public service and our commitment to the welfare of our constituents,” Mayor Belmonte remarked.

According to the Independent Auditor’s Report, the “financial statements present fairly, in all material respects, the financial position of Quezon City.”

With this fourth consecutive Unmodified Opinion, the Quezon City Government continues to set a benchmark for effective governance and financial stewardship in the Philippines.

The city remains steadfast in its mission to deliver efficient and transparent services that uplift the lives of its residents and contribute to the overall progress and development of the nation.
