Today marked the successful launch of the QC Summer Activities for Youth and Children, bringing together young participants for a fun, interactive, and educational learning experience centered on health, wellness, and emergency preparedness.
Children participated in exciting activity stations including:
Batang QC: Junior Health Champions Program
Meal-Building Activities
Mind Matters: Kids Mental Health and Wellness Sessions
Smile & See: Child Health Screening Program
Little Responder: Kids Emergency Preparedness Program
One of the highlights of the activity was the hands-on disaster preparedness orientation where children learned basic emergency response concepts, explored an ambulance unit, and were introduced to emergency communication tools and safety practices through the βDisaster Busters Field Guide.β
The activity also promoted healthy habits, teamwork, confidence-building, and community awareness in a child-friendly and engaging environment.
Quezon City Government and Rosario Maclang Bautista General Hospital remain committed to creating safe, meaningful, and enriching programs that support the holistic development of our children while strengthening health education and disaster preparedness in the community.
Thank you to all participating children, parents, volunteers, healthcare workers, and organizers who made Day 1 of Bakasyong Sulit 2026 a success! ![]()
