Situated in one of the country’s most historic places, Barangay Balingasa in Balintawak, Quezon City, is home to about 30,000 people (with about 11,000 + voting population) and is the place of business to some 1,000 industrial and commercial establishments. It is divided into seven sitios.

Although remarkable changes in infrastructure and facilities have transpired, the community is very much rich with Filipino traditions and very much active in religious activities.  Four fiestas yearly are celebrated for four different Saints.  Holy Week is observed in this barangay with solemnity by reading of Pasyon, Novenas, and Stations of the Cross, then the traditional Salubong at early dawn of Easter Sunday. The month of May is the flower month of Flores De Mayo, with beautiful women joining the parade to signify the climax of Santacruzan.
