Barangay Doña Imelda is a bustling residential and commercial community situated along Quezon City’s border with Manila and San Juan, created via Executive Order No. 052 by Mayor Norberto Amoranto.
Due to its proximity to the San Juan River and local creek networks, parts of the barangay are riverine environments that require active flood monitoring during severe typhoons. Barangay Doña Imelda hosts the TESDA Quezon City District Office (QCDO), which provides technical vocational skills training.
