Barangay San Isidro Labrador was formerly Barrio Malamig before it was identified through zoning in 1974 and renamed after St. Isodore the Laborer.
Salvacion Atienza was the first barangay captain, leading the council composed of Brgy. Officials Patria L. Chan, Loreto L. Santos, Mercedes Pamintuan, Ricardo Barican, Mr. Diaz, Roberto Villanueva, Ernesto Alfonso, and Benny Jornada.
