November 26, 2025The activity aims to deliver accessible dental services, including oral exams, prophylaxis, fluoride application, silver diamine fluoride, pit and fissure sealants, Atraumatic Restorative Treatment, tooth extraction, and other basic procedures to persons with disabilities and special needs through the Dental Mobile Bus. It will also assess their oral health status and collect baseline data to strengthen future dental programs for this population.
The program features an inclusive and interactive lecture using age-appropriate health promotion materials, visual aids, storytelling, and activity worksheets to encourage preventive oral health practices. This initiative seeks to increase awareness and empower patients, parents, and caregivers to practice consistent oral hygiene and adopt healthy habits for better oral and overall well-being.
