Ipinagdiwang ng Quezon City Government ang World Autism Acceptance Month kasama ang QC Persons with Disability Affairs Office, sa pamamagitan ng espesyal na pagtitipon na “Championing Inclusion: Empowering Success in the Workplace for Persons on the Spectrum.”
Binigyang-diin ni Mayor Joy Belmonte sa kanyang mensahe na patuloy na pinagtitibay ng pamahalaang lungsod ang komunidad na bukas at pantay para sa lahat — lalo na sa QCitizens na nasa autism spectrum.
Nagsilbing resource speaker sina QC Public Employment Service Office head Rogelio Reyes, Business Permits and Licensing Department head Ma. Margarita Mejia. Tinalakay nila sng mga programa ng lungsod ukol sa pantay na trabaho para sa lahat.
Kasama rin sa programa sina National Children’s Hospital Supervising Admin Officer Gemma Suarez, Project Inclusion Exec. Dir. Grant Javier, at Autism Society of the Philippines National Spokesperson Mona Magno-Veluz.
