Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, alongside global leaders, decision-makers, and civil society groups, participates in the opening ceremony of #ClimateWeekNYC, the world’s largest annual climate gathering hosting 400 activities throughout New York City.
Organized by the Climate Group, it assembles prominent international figures to drive climate action and accelerate progress.
Mayor Belmonte is accompanied by Councilor Joseph Juico and Ms. Andrea Villaroman, Head of the Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability Department.
Throughout the week, this event will showcase significant announcements, discussions, and interviews with global leaders from various sectors, including business, government, and the climate community.
