Declogging Operations by QC Engineering Department

Bilang pagtugon sa patuloy na pag-ulan dulot ng Severe Tropical Storm “Kristine,” ang Quezon City Government, sa pangunguna ng Department of Engineering, ay patuloy na nagsasagawa ng de-clogging operations upang mabawasan at maiwasan ang pagbaha sa komunidad. Mahigit sa 17 de-clogging activities ang naisagawa na ngayong araw, kaya’t umabot na sa kabuuang bilang na 62 ang mga naisagawang de-clogging activities.

Kabilang sa mga lugar na na-declog ang Calamba Street at N.S. Amoranto Avenue sa Barangay Sto. Domingo, District 1; AFP Road at Airforce Street sa Barangay Holy Spirit, at Barangay Batasan Hills sa District 2; P. Burgos Street sa Barangay Escopa III, F. Castillo Street sa Barangay Bagumbuhay, at Raja Matanda sa Barangay Milagrosa, District 3; Waling-Waling Street sa Barangay Roxas, District 4; Regalado Avenue sa Barangay North Fairview, District 5; at Cypress Village at Lorraine Street sa Barangay Apolonio Samson, District 6.

Patuloy pa rin ang mga de-clogging operations ng lungsod upang matiyak na mabawasan ang epekto ng pagbaha sa mas maraming lugar, bilang bahagi ng tuloy-tuloy na pagsisikap na pangalagaan ang kaligtasan at kapakanan ng mga QCitizens.
