Muling nagsanib-pwersa ang DSWD Pag-Abot Program (https://www.facebook.com/DSWDPagAbot), MMDA, PNP, at Quezon City Government – Task Force Sampaguita (TFS) sa isang reach-out operation sa mga areas of concern sa Distrito 1 at 4 upang matulungan ang mga pamilyang naninirahan sa lansangan.

Matapos ang operasyon, 102 na indibidwal kabilang na ang 39 na menor de edad, ang nailikas mula sa lansangan. Sa mga ito, 9 na pamilya ay residente ng lungsod. Maayos din silang sinundo ng kani-kanilang mga barangay.

Samantala, 41 katao na hindi residente ng lungsod, kabilang ang 13 bata o mga Children in Street Situations (CISS), ay ligtas na naiturn-over sa pangangalaga ng DSWD at nairehistro sa Pag-Abot ID upang magkaroon ng opisyal na pagkakakilanlan.

Lahat ng nasagip ay binigyan ng paunang tulong, kabilang ang pagkain at serbisyong medikal, habang inaasikaso ang kanilang pagbabalik sa pamilya at iba pang karagdagang tulong na nararapat sa kanila.

Kasama rin sa operasyon ang pagsagip sa 18 alagang hayop na bibigyan ng karampatang kalinga at check-up sa tulong ng City Veterinary Department.

Sinunod ng operasyon ang rights-based approach upang matiyak na ang bawat indibidwal ay iginagalang at protektado ang kanilang mga karapatang pantao.

Pinangunahan ang operasyon nina PESO Head Rogelio L. Reyes, District 4 Action Officer Atty. Zandy A. Zacate, mga social workers ng SSDD at ni Director Marilyn B. Moral ng DSWD Pag-Abot Program.

Nakipagtulungan din ang iba-ibang departamento ng pamahalaang lungsod, kabilang ang Market Development and Administration Department, Quezon City Police District, City Health Department, Quezon City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, Traffic and Transport Management Department, Public Employment Service Office, Department of Public Order and Safety, Barangay and Community Relations Department, City Veterinary Department, Department of Sanitation Quezon City, General Services Department, Quezon City Anti-Drug Abuse Advisory Council, City Legal Department, at Task Force Disiplina.

Nagbigay naman ng suporta at koordinasyon ang mga kinauukulang barangay, kabilang ang Barangay South Triangle, Laging Handa, Sacred Heart, Balingasa, Paligsahan, at Obrero.
