ABOUT US
Description
The BAA acts on the appeals of real property owners who are not satisfied with the action of the City Assessor in the assessment of their property.
All proceedings are in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 3, Book II, Title Two in the 1991 Local Government Code.
Mission
To warrant the observance of the due process of law in impartial, just, and equitable real property tax assessment and collection.
Vision
To further enhance government services geared towards institutional and progressive development.
Legal Basis
- Section 230, Chapter 3, Title Two, Book II, Republic Act No. 7160 entitled “An Act Providing for a Local Government Code of 1991”
Service Pledge

To provide assistance to the “Petitioner-Appellant” in filing their appeal and in the submission of all their other pertinent documents in support of their claim for refund or credit of taxes paid under protest.
