Description

QCITDD shall be responsible for the system development and the management of a Comprehensive Information Technology Master Plan which will serve as a guide for a harmonious operation of the operating departments such as revenue generating processes, frontline services, technical information and planning data, infrastructure and engineering data, demographics and internal administrative systems.

CONTROL OF DATA SERVICES IN CONFORMITY WITH THE DATA PRIVACY ACT

Review of the validity of the request and the information being requested is being conducted. The approved letter is then forwarded at the Database Management Division for the extraction of the data/information needed by the concern head of the institution.

APPLICATION SYSTEMS DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT

This process is part of the mandate of developing a Comprehensive IT Master Plan and to ensure that other computerization processes in the City Government are compatible with the plan. This is also being done in compliance with the providing of procedures and guidelines in the design and development.

The division takes on the crucial role of reviewing ICT program proposals submitted by various departments within the local government. By scrutinizing these proposals, the division ensures that ICT investments are directed toward projects that bring the most value to the city.

INSPECTION OF I.T. EQUIPMENT AND PERIPHERALS DELIVERY BASED ON PO OR CONTRACT

Beyond the planning stage, the Project Research and Development Division continues to be actively
involved in the ICT project life cycle. It oversees the inspection of project deliveries, ensuring that they meet the established standards and requirements. This diligent oversight helps maintain project quality and ensures that the city receives the intended benefits from its ICT investments.

How to Submit a Project Proposal (personal or via email)

Requirements:

  • Request Letter duly signed by the Department/Office Head
  • IT Project Proposal
  • Proponent Profile

Steps:

  1. Submit the requirements for the IT Project Proposal to ITDD on the the14th Floor, High Rise Building, Quezon City Hall, East Avenue Corner Elliptical Road, Diliman, Quezon City, or via email at prdd.ITDD@quezoncity.gov.ph, copy furnished ITDD@quezoncity.gov.ph.
  2. Wait for the acknowledgment of the proposal.
  3. Wait for the feedback/response of the Project Division based on the evaluation.

SMART CITY SUMMIT 2018

With the theme Advocating for Smart Sustainable Cities through Innovation and Collaboration”, ITDD hosted the Smart City Summit 2018 at Ayala Malls Vertis North, Diliman, Quezon City.

QUEZON CITY ANIMATION AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY FAIR (2016-2019)

The QCITDD organized the first Quezon City Animation and IT Fair from 2016 to 2019 which helped the participants develop and advance their skills in digital drawing, 3D modeling, experimental animation, and other programs on Microsoft, digital photography, and online security. The event was conducted to further spread awareness of the Philippine Animation industry and the great opportunities ahead both in the Philippines and abroad.
