The Task Force on Solid Waste Collection, Cleaning and Disposal Services Management (TFSWCCDSM) was created through Executive Order No. 3 series of 2019 to specifically spearhead the implementation of solid waste collection, cleaning and disposal for its continuing services to the people of the City and the creation of an Action Team to serve as its implementing arm.
TFSWM is composed of the following Divisions: Waste Management Operations, Permits and Compliance, Administrative Affairs and Property Management, and Public Affairs and Special Concerns.
WASTE MANAGEMENT OPERATIONS DIVISION
Implement all services pertaining to solid waste management
Assist in disaster related operations
Support all cleaning operations
PERMITS AND COMPLIANCE DIVISION
Process Application and Renewal of Environmental Clearances and Permit
Investigate on the complaints pertaining to sanitation
Conduct regular sanitation inspection to business establishments
ADMINISTRATIVE AFFAIRS AND PROPERTY MANAGEMENT DIVISION
Provide comprehensive range of administrative services
Conduct cleanup works to vital City Government establishments
Implement post closure and maintenance program to Payatas controlled disposal facility and other rehabilitating facilities
PUBLIC AFFAIRS AND SPECIAL CONCERNS DIVISION
Establish a responsive community communications system
Develop, undertake, and manage pilot-basis projects
Response team during outbreak arising from diseases
Conduct regular sanitation operations to identified vital city properties and facilities
SOLID WASTE COLLECTION SCHEDULE IN QC
Regular solid waste collection per barangay is three times a week. Two times a week for biodegradable and once a week for non-biodegradable.
Daily collection of solid waste on main roads of Quezon City is scheduled at four in the morning (04:00), eleven in the morning (11:00) and eight in the evening (20:00)
Bulky Waste is collected every Sunday upon request
