Mabilis na nag-abot ng pinansyal na tulong ang Quezon City Government sa pitong pamilyang nasunugan sa Barangay St. Peter noong Linggo ng madaling araw (August 27).

Mismong si Mayor Joy Belmonte ang nagbigay ng financial aid sa mga biktima. Nauna na silang nabigyan ng food packs at material assistance mula sa Social Services Development Department.
