Bilang bahagi ng taunang paggunita ng Fire Prevention Month tuwing Marso, nagsagawa ng kick-off ceremony ang Bureau of Fire Prevention NCR at Quezon City Fire District na may temang, “Sa Pag-iwas sa Sunog, Hindi ka Nag-iisa” ngayong araw sa QC Hall.

Nakiisa at kinilala ang mga fire brigades at community fire auxiliary groups mula sa iba-ibang distrito ng QC.

Nagsagawa rin ng motorcade kasama ang mga fire trucks, rescue trucks, at ambulance ng mga BFP fire brigades at CFAG.

Binanggit naman ni Asst. City Administrator for Operations Alberto Kimpo sa kanyang talumpati ang mga plano para mas paigtingin ang fire preparedness and prevention initiatives ng Lungsod Quezon.

Kasama sa pagdiriwang sina BFP NCR Regional Director CSupt. Nahum Tarroza, QCFD Fire Marshal SSupt. Aristotle Bañaga, QC Police District Director BGen. Nicolas Torre III, Barangay Community Relations Department head Ricky Corpuz, Transport and Traffic Management Department head Dexter Cardenas, at District 5 Action Officer William Bawag.

Muling pinaalalahanan ng QCFD at BFP NCR ang QCItizens na mag-ingat ng husto upang maiwasan ang sunog sa ating mga komunidad.
