Sa pagpapatuloy ng malawakang inspeksyon ng Quezon City Government, sa pangunguna ng Department of Engineering (QCDE), sinuri muli ang iba’t ibang flood control projects ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) sa lungsod.
Layunin ng hakbang na ito na masiguro na ang lahat ng flood control projects sa Quezon City ay naipatutupad nang maayos at naaayon sa Drainage Master Plan ng lungsod.
Kasama rin sa layunin ng inspeksyon ang pagtiyak na ang bawat proyekto ay may kaukulang Certificate of Coordination, alinsunod sa City Ordinance SP-2939, S-2020.
Ang lahat ng proyektong ipinatutupad ng mga national government agencies, gaya ng DPWH, ay kinakailangang ipinaalam sa lokal na pamahalaan upang masiguro na walang nasasayang na pondo, at tumutugma sa mga plano at proyekto ng lungsod.
