Mainit na tinanggap ng Quezon City government ang pagbisita ng mga opisyal ng Global Rights for Women at ng Cummins Powers Women upang matunghayan ang iba-ibang Gender-Based Violence na programa ng lungsod.

Bilang kinatawan ni Mayor Joy Belmonte, pinangunahan ni Vice Mayor Gian Sotto ang pagtanggap sa mga bisita kasama sina Councilor Aly Medalla at si Councilor Doc Ellie Juan. Present din sa event sina Secretary to the Mayor Ricardo Belmonte Jr., QC Tourism Department OIC Ma. Teresa Tirona, at TWG QC Gender and Development head Janet Oviedo.

Pinuntahan nina Global Rights for Women Executive Director Cheryl Tomas, Director of Systems Laura Williams, Director of Development Sara Mowchan, Cummins Corporation Corporate Responsibility and TEC Program Leader Kate Teixeira, Corporate Counsel Jennifer Beloso, at Executive Director Spark PH Maica Teves ang Bahay Kanlungan at ang QC Protection Center for Victims of Gender-Based Violence and Abused. Kinamusta rin nila ang mga all-women employees ng bawat opisina.
