Uumpisahan na ang dalawang istasyon ng itatayong Metro Manila Subway Project (MMSP) sa Lungsod Quezon!

Dumalo bilang kinatawan ni Mayor Joy Belmonte si City Administrator Michael Alimurung sa Groundbreaking Ceremony para sa MMSP CP102 sa mga itatayong istasyon at tunnels sa Quezon Avenue at East Avenue, sa pangangasiwa ng Department of Transportation (DOTr) at Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

Ang MMSP ay may habang 33.1-km mula Valenzuela City patungong Paranaque City. Sa kabuuan, magkakaroon ito ng 17 istasyong itatayo at pito rito ay matatagpuan sa Lungsod Quezon.

Present din sa idinaos na programa sina National Housing Authority General Manager Joeben Tai, DOTr Secretary Jaime J. Bautista, Department of National Defense Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr., Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar, Nishimatsu-DMCI Joint Venture Authorized Managing Officer Keiji Matsushita, JICA Senior Representative Kenji Kuronuma, at Embassy of Japan Minister for Economic Affairs Daisuke Nihei, District 1 Rep. Arjo Atayde, QC Engineering Department OIC Atty. Dale Perral, Traffic and Transport Management Department OIC Dexter Cardenas, at Bagong Pag-Asa P/B Rodolfo Palma.
