Pinangunahan ni Mayor Joy Belmonte, Councilor Marra Suntay, Councilor Imee Rillo, Councilor Nanette Castelo Daza, Councilor Raquel Malañgen, District 4 Action Officer Al Flores, Parks Development and Administration Department Head Arch. Nancy Esguerra, at Konseho ng Barangay UP Village ang ribbon-cutting ceremony ng parke.

Ang 54-meter long na Alley 44 ay isa sa mga na-reclaim na eskinita sa QC, sa bisa ng mga memorandum na inilabas ng Department of the Interior and Local Government na nag-uutos na i-clear ang mga kalye at bangketa mula sa mga obstruction at encroachment.
