Inilunsad ng Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO), katuwang ang Quezon City Schools Division Office (QCSDO), ang Expanded Alternative Learning System Special Needs Education (ALS-SNED) sa Batino Elementary School ngayong araw.
Dagdag 12 public schools na ang magbibigay ng ALS-SNED program sa lungsod, kabilang ang:
– Sergio Osmena Sr. High School
– San Antonio Elementary School
– Payatas B Elementary School
– President Corazon C. Aquino Elementary School
– Batino Elementary School
– Pura V. Kalaw Elementary School
– San Vicente Elementary School
– Kamuning Elementary School
– Rosa L. Susano Elementary School
– North Fairview Elementary School
– Lucas R. Pascual Elementary School
– Pasong Tamo Elementary School
Layon nitong bigyang pagkakataon ang mga learner with disability na makamit ang inklusibong edukasyon.
Pinangunahan ni PDAO head Debbie Dacanay ang paglagda sa pledge of commitment, kasama sina SDO Education Program Supervisor Mr. Ryan Atezora, ALS Division Education Program Supervisor Mr. Dennis Mano, Batino Elementary School principal Ms. Gina Cristobal, inclusive education advocate Mr. Alphonsus Castro De Alban, at mga guro.
Unang inilunsad ang ALS-SNED program sa Justice Cecilia Muñoz Palma High School noong nakaraang taon.
