QUEZON CITY — Maginhawa Street will come alive in a vibrant celebration of diversity, creativity, and community as it hosts the first-ever Maginhawa Pride Village in partnership with the Quezon City Government on Saturday, June 27, 2026.
Running from 9:00 AM until midnight, the festival transforms Maginhawa Street—from Magiting Street to Mapagkawanggawa Street—into a lively pedestrian village featuring over 50 local merchants, live music, art, food, community activities, and a free evening concert capped by dazzling drag performances.
Mayor Joy Belmonte said the festival reflects Quezon City’s unwavering commitment to inclusion and equality.
“Pride is about creating spaces where everyone, regardless of their SOGIE, feels seen, respected, and safe. In Quezon City, we celebrate diversity because it makes our communities stronger.”
“The Maginhawa Pride Village is more than a festival—it is a celebration of love, acceptance, and belonging. As we celebrate Pride, we reaffirm our commitment to making Quezon City a safe haven where every member of the LGBTQIA+ community can live freely and authentically.”
The festival features three programs—Good Morning, Maginhawa, Walang Siesta sa Maginhawa, and Dinner na Winner—offering activities from sunrise to midnight.
The morning begins with Zumba, free legal consultations from the Integrated Bar of the Philippines–Quezon City Chapter, performances by the QC Symphonic Band, and interactive booths from Globe Telecom and Coca-Cola.
The afternoon showcases performances by AUX 8, Earl Generao, Faye Yu, mayfly, Okaykwan, It All Started in May, NEW LORE, Tuesday Trinkets, Shattered January, BAHAGHARI + MALAYA, and The Sanctuary’s Wet ’n Wild Rave.
