Nakipag-dayalogo si Mayor Joy Belmonte kasama ang Department of Environment and Natural Resources – Biodiversity Management Bureau Technical Team upang talakayin ang panukalang proyekto na “Green and Resilient Cities (GRC)” sa ilalim ng 8th cycle ng Global Environment Facility.
Layon ng proyekto na palakasin ang climate resilience ng Quezon City, partikular na ang mga socialized housing para sa Informal Settler Families (ISF) ng lungsod.
Kasama sa pulong sina QC Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability Department Head Andrea Villaroman, Mark Ramirez, Program Analyst ng UNDP Climate Action Program, at Melody Ann Malano, Chief ng Caves, Wetland and Other Ecosystem Division ng DENR Biodiversity Management Bureau.
Nakiisa rin sina City Architect Red Avelino, City Parks Development and Administration Department Acting Assistant Head Michael Velasco, City Engineer Atty. Mark Dale Perral, QC Housing Community Development and Resettlement Department Head Atty. Jojo Conejero, at City Planning Officer Dr. Jose Gomez.
