Pormal nang inilunsad ang exclusive motorcycle lane sa kahabaan ng Commonwealth Avenue ngayong araw sa pangunguna ni Metropolitan Manila Development Authority Acting Chairman Romando Artes, kasama sina 1-Rider Partylist Rep. Bonifacio Bosita at Rep. Ramon Rodrigo Gutierrez.

Ang motorcycle lane ay inilunsad ng MMDA upang mapanatiling ligtas ang mga riders at iba pang motorista. Ayon kay Chairman Artes, mahigit 150,000 riders ang tinatayang dumadaan sa Commonwealth Ave araw-araw.

Suportado naman ng pamahalaang lungsod ang proyekto, ayon na rin kay Asst. City Administrator for Operations Alberto Kimpo dahil mapapanatili nitong ligtas at maayos ang pagbiyahe ng mga motorista sa QC.

Magkakaroon ng sampung araw na dry run ang MMDA sa motorcycle lane simula March 9. Sinisiguro naman ng MMDA at QC Transport and Traffic Management Department na handa ang kanilang mga tauhan upang umalalay sa mga motorista.
