Need to Know: The Quezon City Public Library-Payatas Lupang Pangako Branch was featured as one of the model libraries in NCR during the celebration of 100th year Public Library Day. This library is known for extending its service through outreach activities like storytelling and book distribution, particularly to the families of Payatas Landfill Tragedy of June 10, 2000.
The Quezon City Public Library-Payatas Lupang Pangako Branch has a total of approximately 139.6 sq m floor area, subdivided into Children Section, MIS Section, Reading Area, and other facilities. The library can accommodate an estimated 40 – 50 library clients including the library personnel. At present, the library has a total collection of 7, 473 books, magazines, journals, newspapers and non-book materials.
