Need to Know: The Quezon City Public Library Roxas Branch supports the strengthening of education and literacy in communities, providing resources such as educational materials, training and seminars, updated news and periodicals, storytelling and film showing activities to visitors. We provide these services not only face-to-face, but have integrated e-learning through online activities, e-resources and e-government services. Our outreach programs promote literacy to communities through our “Aklatang Gala”, described as the library on wheels, showcasing library services to all QCitizens in different barangays.
The Quezon City Public Library Roxas Branch Library was established on November 5, 1955 and inaugurated on Nov. 23, 1967. Since its establishment, readers have increased tremendously due to an increase in population and the proximity of the two public schools nearby, namely the Manuel Roxas High School and General Roxas Elementary School.
