Need to Know: Also named the “Scout Area”, Tomas Morato is most famous for naming several streets after the 22 Boy Scouts in honor of their death from a plane crash bound for the 11th World Scout Jamboree. The memorial site at the center of Timog Avenue and Tomas Morato Avenue stands as a rotunda and centerpoint where various cuisines of food and entertainment are within reach.
Along Timog Avenue, known restaurants with different cuisines and styles are open for a gastronomic experience, such as the Timog Food Plaza and Buddy’s Pancit Lucban. Meanwhile, along Tomas Morato Avenue, well-known restaurants to try are Alba Restaurant, Mario’s Restaurant, and Limbaga 77.
