The Quezon City Government, through the Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO), in partnership with the Social Services Development Department (SSDD), has established the Early Disability Detection, Rehabilitation, and Prevention program for the children of Quezon City.
This aims to immediately detect and supply the necessary care and services to address the child’s disability.
Under the program, children with disabilities (CWDs) below 18 years old who belong to indigent families are provided with free medical assessment or the Children Disability Assessment Program (CDAP).
To avail the service, QCitizens must submit the following:
- QC ID (PWD Sector)
- Barangay Indigency (Purpose: For Medical/Clinical Assessment)
- Parent/Guardian’s QC ID/1 any valid government-issued ID
This initiative is part of the city’s efforts to provide assistance for CWDs.
As of October 2025, a total of 1,243 beneficiaries have been assessed since it started in 2022.
