The Quezon City Government, through the Quezon City Department of Engineering (QCDE), is set to launch the QC Open Infra Dashboard— a public transparency dashboard that aims to boost the city’s efforts in transparency and accountability.
The dashboard contains comprehensive information on the city’s infrastructure projects, including their titles, status, start and completion dates, costs, locations, and project contractors, which can be viewed publicly by QCitizens and other stakeholders. It also provides summarized insights and geotagged photos from the Geographic Information System (GIS) that help in locating built structures with precision.
Obtaining its comprehensive information from the city’s Infrastructure Project Management System (IPMS) platform that holds data on the city’s various infrastructure projects, including schools, barangay halls, multipurpose buildings, drainage upgrading, road construction and maintenance, park construction and rehabilitation, as well as the list of flood control projects in the city, the QC Open Infra Dashboard aims to provide QCitizens with a more open, clearer, and more accessible information.
This initiative is part of the city’s commitment to the Open Government Partnership (OGP).
To learn more about the program, kindly reach out to the QCDE. For more updates, QCitizens may also follow and visit the Official QC Gov Facebook account and website.
