The Quezon City Government, through the QC Public Employment Service Office (QC PESO), has launched the QC PESO Job Start Program, which provides an online and self-paced 10-day life skills training program open to 18-24-year-old QCitizens. 

This program aims to help in developing beneficiaries’ soft skills and reach their employment goals that would enhance their competencies, making them more responsive to the demands of the labor market.

Under the program, qualified registrants are provided with allowance, workplace experience, career and work training guidance, information on the labor market, and public employment services, as well as a certificate of completion. 

Following the training, participants are given opportunities to find employment through facilitating culminating activities, job fairs, and referrals. 

This initiative is part of the city’s competency enhancement and retooling program.
