The Quezon City Government, through the City Engineering Department (QCDE) in coordination with the City Planning and Development Department (CPDD), Department of Public Order and Safety (DPOS), Traffic and Transport Management Department (TTMD), and QC District Action Offices, has implemented the QC ReVibe Project in Tomas Morato and Litex Market to provide a safer and improved pathway for QCitizens.
As part of the program, the mentioned locations undergo sidewalk beautification, obstruction removal, and street lighting efforts.
In Tomas Morato, from E. Rodriguez Sr. Avenue to Eugenio Lopez Drive, a total of 285 lamp posts have already been lighted up.
With the assistance of the District 2 Action Office, Task Force Disciplina (TFD), Quezon City Police District (QCPD), and Barangay Commonwealth, the Litex Market rehabilitation project has included building a directional island, installing steel sidewalk railings, and setting up 102 lamp posts to provide lighting and security.
This initiative aligns with the city’s efforts to promote QC as a safe and walkable community.
