The Housing Program of the Quezon City Government initiates affordable housing and condominium projects with units distributed to qualified residents through Rental Housing and Socialized Housing and Condominium units.
Rental Housing
Under the scheme, the underprivileged, homeless, and Informal Settler Families (ISFs) who are not capable of acquiring an affordable housing are given the opportunity to rent a unit with a monthly rental fee and due that depends on the “Kasunduan ng Pagpapaupa.”
The amount of fee is bound to increase every three (3) years based on the rate set by the Local Housing Board and the accessibility of the housing unit or depending on the amendments and revisions to consider.
Socialized Housing Unit and Socialized Condominium Unit
The units under this program are made available for the qualified residents, and government employees who apply through a housing loan scheme which has a maximum loanable amount of PHP 750,000 at PAG-IBIG Fund and PHP 450,000 at the Social Housing Finance Corporation.
From 2020-2024, the city was able to provide a total of 20,545 families with safe and dignified housing. This program is part of Quezon City’s commitment to ensuring safe and stable living conditions for its residents, helping uplift their quality of life and fostering a sense of community.
