Three nights of guest bartending, exclusive menus and a closing celebration will invite visitors to discover the Tomas Morato–Scout area’s bars and restaurants.
Quezon City’s cocktail scene is getting an international twist this October. From October 2 to 4, the inaugural QC Cocktail Jamboree: Jakarta Edition will pair eight Jakarta bars with eight Quezon City establishments for guest bartending sessions and specially crafted menus across the Tomas Morato Lifestyle District and nearby areas.
Organized primarily by local cocktail establishments in partnership with the QC Tourism Department, the Jamboree will run nightly from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The participating venues are within a two-kilometer radius, making it easy for guests to explore the area’s dining and entertainment spots as they experience the city’s cocktail scene.
The three-day event aims to draw more visitors to the Scout-Timog-Tomas Morato area and support local businesses by encouraging guests to discover the neighborhood beyond its bars.
Mayor Joy Belmonte said the Jamboree reflects the city’s efforts to introduce more of its destinations and experiences to travelers.
“We want travelers and tourists to see Quezon City not just as a jump-off point, but as a destination worth discovering—with its own cultural gems, hidden wonders, and rich history,” Mayor Belmonte said.
Quezon City’s participating establishments are After Hours, 2B, Bar Flora, ReCraft, Ruby’s Lounge, Old Times, Wrong Door, and A.K.A. (Also Known As). Their Jakarta counterparts are The Cosmo Pony, The Golden Tooth, Dualism, Between The Sips, HATS, Osmo, Modernhaus, and St. Regis Bar, along with other participating establishments recognized in Asia’s 50 Best Bars list.
The exchange will give bartenders a chance to share techniques and ideas, while guests can sample locally crafted cocktails alongside drinks and fresh interpretations from Jakarta’s bars.
The first guest shifts take place on October 2: The Cosmo Pony at Bar Flora, The Golden Tooth at Old Times, Dualism at Wrong Door, and Between The Sips at After Hours.
On October 3, HATS will take over A.K.A., Osmo will be at 2B, Modernhaus will be at ReCraft, and St. Regis will be at Ruby’s Lounge.
The Jamboree will close on October 4 with a gathering of participating bars and bartenders, industry professionals, guests, and cocktail enthusiasts. Booths and interactive spaces will give attendees the chance to meet participating brands, discover new products, and connect with others in the industry.
