The Quezon City Government will once again open doors to thousands of employment opportunities through its annual Labor Day Job Fair, set to take place on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the QC M.I.C.E. Center in City Hall.

This year, around 11,000 job vacancies will be available from approximately 100 participating private companies and government agencies, spanning various industries and sectors.

“We invite all jobseekers, especially our QCitizens, to take part in this opportunity to jumpstart or advance their careers,” said Mayor Joy Belmonte.

“Through this job fair, we are delivering on our commitment to create a city where every resident has access to decent, meaningful work. In Quezon City, we believe that employment is not just a livelihood—it is empowerment, dignity, and a pathway to a better future,” she emphasized.

To support applicants in completing their pre-employment requirements swiftly, the city will set up a one-stop shop for government services during the event. Onsite services will include membership registration and ID issuance for SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and PSA for the National ID.

The QCitizen ID booth will also be operational for QC residents needing to apply for or receive their QCID cards. In addition, representatives from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) will be available to issue necessary clearances.

Major employers joining this year’s fair include Abacus Book & Card Corporation (National Bookstore), Andok’s Litson Corporation, Asia Brewery, Inc., Global Officium Limited, Inc. (Hotel SOGO), Max’s Kitchen, Inc., JAC Liner Company, Robinsons Supermarket Corporation, Sanford Marketing Corporation (Savemore Market), Savory Fastfood Inc. (Classic Savory), Super Shopping Market, Inc. (SM Hypermarket), Super Value, Inc. (SM Supermarket), Solaire Resort North, UnionBank, and Zest-O Corporation, among many others.

Top available positions include customer service representatives, office staff, cashiers, drivers, service crew, sales associates, merchandisers, electricians, encoders, and kitchen staff, among others.

Applicants are advised to bring multiple copies of their updated résumés, a valid ID, and to dress professionally for on-the-spot interviews. Free résumé printing services will also be available at the venue.

With its Labor Day Job Fair, Quezon City continues to champion employment access, empower jobseekers, and build a stronger, more inclusive local economy.
