Quezon City — The Quezon City Government is now accepting applications for the Quezon City Stops All Forms of Exploitation (QC SAFE) Seal among accommodation establishments, strengthening efforts to prevent human trafficking and protect vulnerable sectors.
Hotels, apartelles, inns, and similar businesses are encouraged to apply and adopt key safeguards, including trained staff to detect exploitation, stricter check-in protocols for minors, visible child protection measures, and a designated safeguarding officer.
The QC SAFE Seal signals that an establishment meets the city’s standards for safety and protection—making it a trusted space for guests.
To boost participation, the city offers incentives such as faster business permit processing, inclusion in tourism promotions, and eligibility for recognition and tax perks, depending on the level of compliance.
“We count on our accommodation establishments as a vital line of defense against human trafficking,” said Mayor Joy Belmonte.
Applications may be filed online through QC e-Services via the Business Permits and Licensing Department (BPLD), subject to inspection and validation.
