Children with Disabilities (CWDs) can receive free therapy services from occupational therapists, physical therapists, and speech-language pathologists through the Kabahagi Center for Children with Disabilities. The primary caregiver of a child with disability (CWD) will also be taught helpful strategies that can be practiced at home.
ELIGIBILITY:
- QCitizens
- Children 0 to 17 years old
- Those experiencing developmental issues
REQUIREMENTS:
- QCitizen ID of the Parent (required)
- 1pc 2×2 ID Photo of the Child (required)
- 3.Accomplished QC Kabahagi Center Application Form (required)
- QCitizen ID of the Child (optional)
- Doctor’s Assessment of the Child (at least 6 months) (optional)
PROCESS:
- Log in to QC E-Services or the QCitizen app with your registered email address.
- Scroll down the list of services and click ‘Kabahagi Online Application.’
- Click ‘Apply to free therapy services.’
- Fill out the Personal Information (Child and Parent/Guardian), Social Service, Family Composition, and Medical Background.
- The parent and the CWD must attend the assessment.
- The parent and the CWD will be trained on strategies for child handling in a span of 10 sessions.
