The certificate of indigency issued by the Social Services Development Department (SSDD) is used as a legal proof for court and the Local Civil Registry.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Request letter addressed to the Department Head from the Involved Agency/Personal letter stating reason for availing Certificate of Indigency (COI)
- 1 Original Barangay Certificate of Indigency (Supporting Document)
- 1 Original Certificate of No Property from the Office of the City Assessor
- Original Certificate of Non-Existing Business from the Quezon City Business Permit and Licensing Office
PROCESS:
- Submit the requirements at the office of the Social Services Development Department located at Civic Center E, Mayaman Street, Barangay Central, Quezon City Hall Compound.
- Undergo an interview with a social worker within 7 working days following the date of submission.
- Receive the certificate of indigency after another 7 working days.
