Startup QC is a platform for aspiring entrepreneurs and innovative students to receive mentorship and benefit from networking opportunities. The winners of the competition in the two categories, ‘StartUp QC Professional’ and ‘StartUp QC Students’ will also receive financial grants from the city government.

STARTUP QC FOR PROFESSIONALS

The maximum grant amount per business entry is up to Php 1,000,000.00, depending on the business plan, the category of the applicant, and the approved list of operational expenses submitted.

ELIGIBILITY:

• At least one member must be from Quezon City
• No convicted case
• Must not have any relative in the screening committee
• At least 21 years of age
• Must have a minimum viable product

REQUIREMENTS:

• E-Application Form (Original or Electronic Copy)
• Maximum of five (5) minute Video Pitch
• Maximum of ten (10) pages/slides of Business Proposal (Original or Electronic Copy)
• Valid Government issued ID with residential address
• QCID

ONLINE APPLICATION:

1. Log in to QC E-services using your registered email. 
2. Choose ‘StartUp QC Program’ from among the services then select ‘Professionals’ for the category.
3. Complete the E-application form, where you will have to submit a business plan and a video pitch.

4. Wait for an email confirmation regarding the status of the application.

STARTUP QC FOR STUDENTS

MAJOR AWARDS

*Only one team will be awarded per category.

Grand Champion	₱ 100,000
1st Runner Up	₱ 75,000
2nd Runner Up	₱ 50,000

MINOR AWARDS

*Multiple teams may be awarded per category.

Gold Category	₱ 35,000
Silver Category	₱ 25,000
Bronze Category	₱ 15,000

ELIGIBILITY:

• At least one member must be from Quezon City
• No convicted case
• At least 18 years of age
• Must not have any relative in the screening committee
• Must be enrolled in any school, college, or university in the Philippines during the time of the application

REQUIREMENTS:

• Latest School ID or enrollment form from college/university (for team leader only)
• Any of the following Government-Issued ID (for team leader only):
  • QC ID

BUSINESS PROPOSAL CONTENT GUIDELINES

1. Company Name: What’s the name of your startup/team?

2. Executive Summary: An overview of your business plan

3. Why Join Startup QC?

4. Problem: What issue does your business tackle, and what gap does it fill?

5. Goals & Objectives: What outcomes do you aim for? What metrics will measure success over time?

6. Solution: What key approach will your Applicant business concept take to solve the problem and add value for your target market?

7. Feasibility: Technical feasibility of the product & business plan

8. Market Analysis: Present an analysis of market trends, target demographics, and competitive landscape.

9. Business Model: How a company creates value and generates revenue

10. Team Profile: Brief introduction and achievements about the team

ONLINE APPLICATION:

2. Choose ‘StartUp QC Program’ from among the services then select ‘Students’ for the category.

3. Complete the application form and submit the requirements. 

NOTE: If requirements are not complete, applicants will be given allotted time to submit their requirements.

4. Complete the E-application form, where you will have to submit a video pitch and a business plan.

5. Wait for an email confirmation regarding the status of the application.
