Small-scale entrepreneurs such as sari-sari store owners, carinderia operators, and beneficiaries of city-supported livelihood programs are eligible to register as nano-enterprises.
BENEFITS OF BEING RECOGNIZED AS A NANO-ENTERPRISE:
- Exemption to local business tax and regulatory fees
- Priority consideration for financial programs like grant, subsidy, and loan
- Priority consideration in workshops, seminars, and other mentorship opportunities
- Capital assistance for businesses affected by calamities like fire and flood
REQUIREMENTS FOR NEW BUSINESS PERMIT:
- QCitizen ID of business owner
- ID of Owner
- Proof of Business Registration from the concerned department:
- For Sole Proprietorship: Department of Trade and Industry
- For Corporations and Partnerships: Securities and Exchange Commission
- For Cooperatives: Cooperative Development Authority
- Tax Declaration (if owned) or Contract of Lease (if leased) and must include the following:
- Contract of Lease must include TCT/Property Description
- Duly signed and notarized
- Contains/Indicates valid identity of lessor and lessee
- Terms must include use as place of business.
- Sketch and photo of business location (when applicable)
- Affidavit of Undertaking (if your store is on a government property)
- Photo of establishment
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS (IF APPLICABLE):
- Tax Incentive Certificates
- Community Tax Certificate (Cedula)
- BMBE Certificate of Authority from DTI
- Letter of No Objection (LONO)
- Gambling Regulatory Advisory Council Resolution (GRAC)
- Special Permit / Fixed Term Special Permit
- Market Certificate
- Certificate of PEZA Accreditation
- Certificate of Exemption from DOST
- ID of Authorized Representative
- If authorized representative, Signed Authorization Form (scanned) and valid IDs of the owner and representative
Allowed File Types: .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .pdf, .doc and .docx of not more than 5MB.
PROCESS:
- Log in to QC eServices.
- Choose Business One Stop Shop (BOSS) from the list of services on the dashboard then click ‘APPLY FOR MAYOR’S PERMIT (BUSINESS).’
- Choose NEW as the type of application.
- Accomplish the application form and ensure that all required documents are properly attached.
- Pay the accompanying fees.
- Once successfully registered, you will receive an electronic copy of the business permit in your email and a physical copy of your business permit.
