WHO MAY AVAIL:
- Quezon City residents who use drugs and have been evaluated and referred for inpatient treatment
- Individuals aged 59 y/o and below, regardless of gender
- Must be physically and mentally fit
- Must not have any pending court criminal case and has not been charged with six (6) years or more for voluntary submission or confinement
- Must have a Court Order for a drug-related case
REQUIREMENTS:
- QCitizen ID or any of the following valid IDs: UMID, SSS, Driver’s License, PRC ID, Voter’s ID, Passport, PWD ID
- Original Copy of Prosecutor’s Clearance (if applicable)
- Original Copy of Barangay Certificate of Residency (6 months’ validity)
- Laboratory examination requirements for the following: Complete Blood Count (CBC), Urinalysis, Fecalysis, Chest X-Ray PA view, Electrocardiogram (ECG) (if 35 years old and above), Pregnancy Test (if female)
- Additional laboratory examination results for hypertensive or cardiac client (Lipid Profile, Serum Creatinine) and diabetic client (fasting blood sugar, serum creatinine)
NOTE: Fees will be paid at the corresponding medical laboratory.
PROCESS:
- Bring the requirements directly to the Quezon City Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Center – TAHANAN located at Molave Extension Diamond Hills in Barangay Payatas (Area B), for screening and intake interview.
- Undergo drug dependency evaluation, mental status evaluation, and physical examination.
- Comply with the required laboratory examination prior to admission and submit the laboratory examination results once available. The cost of these procedures will be covered by the patient.
- Temporary admission to QCDTRC while the petition for voluntary confinement is processed in court. The QCDTRC liaison officer will assist in the court petition process.
