The Quezon City Government continues to strengthen public service delivery through the QCitizen ID, the city’s official identification card for residents and qualified individuals.
The QCitizen ID provides access to city programs and social services such as health check-ups, scholarships, and social welfare assistance, as well as partner establishment discounts.
To ensure inclusivity, the city issues four types of QCitizen ID: Resident, Senior Citizen, Person with Disability (PWD), and Non-Resident, allowing different sectors to access appropriate services and benefits.
Mayor Joy Belmonte emphasized the QCitizen ID’s role in ensuring that government assistance reaches the intended beneficiaries. “Sa pamamagitan ng QCitizen ID, mas nasisiguro natin na ang tulong at serbisyo ng pamahalaan ay direktang napupunta sa ating mga tunay na residente,” she said.
Individuals may apply online through the QC eServices portal by presenting a primary valid ID or any other official ID that provides their identity, along with proof of residency for at least six months in Quezon City. The application is free of charge, and the ID is valid for ten years.
The QCitizen ID also integrates other city-issued identification cards. Residents who turn 60 are automatically recognized as senior citizens. Applicants with disabilities must submit a Certificate of Apparent or Non-Apparent Disability along with a valid ID and proof of residency.
Applicants aged 15 and above receive a physical QCitizen ID Card, while those aged 14 and below are issued a digital version. Qualified non-residents who study, work, own property, or conduct business in Quezon City may register under the Non-Resident category with the required documents.
As part of the city’s digital transformation, each QCitizen ID features a QR code for quick identity verification and seamless access to city services, programs, and partner discounts.
Recent data show continued growth in registration. Active QCitizen IDs increased by 100,644 from the third to the fourth quarter of 2025, bringing the total to 1,576,300 by year-end. The city averages around 24,600 new QCitizen IDs per month.
“Layon nating gawing mas madali, mas mabilis, at mas makatao ang pagkuha ng serbisyo ng bawat QCitizen,” said Mayor Belmonte.
The city government encourages all eligible residents and qualified individuals to register for the QCitizen ID to fully enjoy the programs and services intended for them.
